Golden Hour Wildflower Hike
Celebrate Earth Day's golden hour along the Vista Trail with Sugarloaf docent Dana Glei. Vista Trail is a favorite year-round due to the diversity of habitats along the route to complete the loop. Along the way, we'll see California Poppies and Fairy Lanterns along grasslands, irises along Gray Pine, lupines along Vista, Orange Bush Monkeyflower along Bald Mountain Trail, and Blue-Eyed Grass on Lower Bald Mountain Trail, along with a multitude of other species.
Meet at the White Barn parking lot. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for students, youth (12-17 year olds), Sugarloaf members, Sugarloaf or RFO volunteers, and free for children 7-12. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This outing is not for children under 7 years old.
Wear appropriate footwear for slippery/rocky trails, bring layers, at least a quart of water, and a flashlight, in case the hike ends later than planned. Parking fees apply.
