Chop's Teen Club

Chop's Teen Club is a 21,000-square-foot facility designed exclusively for teens in grades 7–12, offering engaging spaces where young people can connect, discover new interests, and build lifelong skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Our Technology Lounge features computers, console gaming, and virtual reality, while our Gym includes a three-quarter basketball court and a 35-foot indoor rock climbing wall. Teens can receive homework support and explore future opportunities in the College & Career Hub, home to our Work Ready workforce development program offered five times each year.

Creative expression thrives in our Music & Recording Studio, where members can learn instruments, record music, and collaborate with friends, and in our Art Studio, which offers ceramics, sewing, painting, drawing, and more with guidance from professional teaching artists.

Our commercial teaching kitchen and Café give teens hands-on experience preparing meals, serving customers, and developing culinary and workplace skills through classes, catering, and our Work Ready program. Club 509, our teen nightclub, hosts movies, live music, dances, karaoke, trivia, and special events, providing a welcoming space to relax and socialize.

Teens also have opportunities to develop leadership skills through our monthly Member Council, where they help shape programs, plan events, and share ideas that make Chop's even better.

More than just a recreation center, Chop's Teen Club is a place where teens build confidence, form meaningful friendships, discover their strengths, and are supported by caring adult mentors who help them reach their full potential.
