Ceres Community Project
We create health for people, communities and the planet through love, healing food and empowering the next generation. Our integrated program trains teens in leadership skills and in growing and cooking healthy foods. The meals they prepare are delivered to clients and their families in Sonoma and Marin counties (CA) who face illnesses like cancer or heart disease. We provide our clients and volunteers with the information and practical tools needed to make healthy eating a way of life and to provide a way for our community to form the meaningful connections, sense of purpose and belonging that are important for well-being. We scale our work through testing the impact of medically-tailored meals on health outcomes and costs & training others to replicate our model.
