Donate to the Small Business Emergency Grants Fund
Small business is the foundation of our local economy. 87% of the county’s businesses have fewer than 20 employees. They’re more likely to donate and volunteer, they’re run by our friends and neighbors and they help define the character of our community.
Our small businesses are doing their part to flatten the curve, but they’re hurting right now. Shutting their doors doesn’t shut-off their costs, and they need just a little bit of cash to help get them through.
That's why we created the Small Business Emergency Grant fund. And within the first 48 hours the need was immediately clear: we received 988 grant applications – and they continue to come in.
We wish we could help everyone who needs it. Even with initial funding from Community Foundation Sonoma County, Bank of Marin and Poppy Bank, the need outweighs our ability to award grants.
That’s where you come in – if you or your organization is in a position to help support our community’s small businesses, your tax-deductible donation to the grant fund will help them survive. Checks can be made payable to the New Vision Santa Rosa Foundation, and mailed to:
