YPN Member Spotlight
Heather Trimble, Senior Associate at Cushman & Wakefield
What would you like other members to know about you, both personally and professionally?
I am a problem solver; I like puzzles and the operations of a business.
What does a typical day in your occupation look like?
It’s different every day and that is what I love about it. Sometimes I am calling businesses seeing if they need new office or warehouse space, other times I am organizing paperwork. My favorite part is meeting with business owners and understanding their vision for their office or warehouse space, and touring with them. It’s my goal to bring my clients visions and dreams to a reality.
How long have you lived in Sonoma County?
Just hit 11 years! I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Go Utes!
What do you enjoy most about YPN?
The Young Professionals in the group. Nothing wrong with other networking groups, but when you network with people your age it’s more inspiring. Knowing there are other people as interested in their professional relationships and development as I am, it makes me happy and excited to know the other members!
What sort of events, mixers, etc. would you like to attend with YPN?
Jeopardy/ Trivia night is always fun. A lot has happened in the past few months, and we are all working to support each other by keeping our distance and staying home.
Outside of working from home, how have you and your family kept busy?
I was so grateful when Sonoma County opened the parks back up. I am a runner so I was staying active, but something about hiking/walking in the hills in Sonoma County is so amazing. Also, puzzles and paint by numbers!
Who (locally or otherwise) inspires you?
Women in business. I am where I am because of path’s they have forged in the last 50 years and I am so thankful to them. I love hearing stories of business women and how they succeeded and got where they are today. Now more than ever it is important to support local.
What businesses or organizations would you like us to look out for and support?
These can be restaurants, shops, or anything around and in between! I shop at Oliver’s Market (I live right next to it), they buy locally so supporting them helps to support other local businesses and farms. I love Down to Earth Café and Sweet Expectations in Cotati. Where do you find inspiration? In a room where I am not the smartest person.
