We had a BLAST with you at Professional Development Day!

A huge resounding thank you to the businesses, local leaders, and young professionals that made this year’s Professional Development Day a huge success. This year’s event was all about the commitments we make to ourselves and our professions, and how to maximize our efforts to find success and, most importantly, happiness.
The room was jam packed and buzzing with excitement during the whole conference. Our fabulous moderator, Kerry Rego, kept speakers and audiences engaged by asking questions that were thoughtful and compelling. Each presentation offered a unique lens, but Kerry ensured they each held a common thread by posing the same questions: What action item should we take with us into 2020? What skills do we want to develop? How do we plan to grow?
Kerry also shared a goal of her own. She will work this year to increase her financial reporting knowledge. As a board member with the Metro Chamber, this will help her positively contribute to meetings by engaging with reports and helping support decisions made through her increased understanding.
Trying to remember what other goals the speakers posed for young professionals? Take a look at the list below to see what action items you can take with you into 2020!
