Visit Santa Rosa in it for the Long Run

Visit Santa Rosa’s Kim Link attended the July 10th Ironman Vineman 70.3 where over 2,000 athletes participated in the endurance event. Participants and spectators visited the Visit Santa Rosa booth at the Athlete’s Village to source all there is to see, do, eat, drink, hike, bike and explore in Sonoma County.

The full Ironman is taking place on Saturday July 30th. Ironman is currently looking for both individual and group volunteers for this race, and is offering a special grant for nonprofits, school groups or sports teams that sign up as a group. They are looking for people to act as captains to run the stations on race day and gather the volunteers ahead of time.
