United Way Children's Book Drive Drop off at the Chamber

The Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce is proud to participate in United Way of the Wine Country’s Children's Book Drive as one of the drop-off locations. The book drive will rely on donations of new and gently used English and Spanish children’s books dropped off throughout August at a variety of easy to access locations.

The Chamber supports the drive’s goal of increasing childhood literacy and early reading skills by distributing books to kids throughout our area for free via United Way's education initiatives and the Free Bookmobile of Sonoma County. United Way wants to help as many children as possible obtain books of their own to encourage reading at home and ultimately reading proficiency.
