Transitioning to District Elections

In response to the threat of a voting rights lawsuit, the City of Santa Rosa’s seven-member city council voted in favor of transitioning from at-large to district-based elections. If you are interested in being a part of the process that will reshape our local political landscape, there will be four public hearings. The first two meetings are tentatively scheduled for the October 3rd and 10th. The Chamber will keep our membership updated and provide more details as we receive them.
