The Outlook from Visit Santa Rosa's Perspective

Last week, several members of the Visit Santa Rosa team attended our state’s travel and tourism industry's flagship conference, Visit California’s Outlook Forum held at the Terranea Resort in Ranchos Palos Verdes. A record breaking 675 attendees from around the state gathered to connect with colleagues representing the tourism, marketing and public relations industries for networking events and immersive and engaging sessions.

The Outlook Forum also serves as the yearly meeting of the managers and staff of the California Welcome Centers. California Welcome Center managers also staffed a booth at this year’s forum and interacted with tourism industry attendees from around the state.

The conference brought together subject matter experts from all over the world to speak in a variety of dynamic sessions. Subject matter experts shared insights on the latest trends, research and marketing strategies shaping the modern travel landscape, and attendees engaged in unparalleled networking and relationship-building opportunities throughout the 4-day conference. Members of the Visit Santa Rosa team found great value in attending this industry-leading event, keeping up to date with best practices and making valuable professional connections.
