Tech Supplier Fair Helps Localize Supply Chains

Sonoma County BEST hosted the 2nd Annual Tech Industry Supplier Fair on September 24th, bringing together large original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Keysight Technologies, Trivascular, L-3 Communication, and Medtronic, for quality one-on-one meetings with dozens of North Bay process and component suppliers.

The goal of the Supplier Fair is to increase business transactions and partnerships among regional manufacturers to help localize supply chains and keep the flow of money within the area.

The event was put together at the request of the Tech Industry Group (TIG), a collection of OEMs in Sonoma County that asked BEST to help them connect to local suppliers.

The TIG, facilitated by BEST, consists of technology, plastics, and life science manufacturers that meet regularly to discuss industry-wide topics and utilize collaboration, combined experiences, best practices and resource sharing to improve the manufacturing industry in Sonoma County.
