Support Life-Changing Opportunities for our Community’s Kids by Sponsoring an IRONMAN

Here at the Metro Chamber, we usually talk about IRONMAN in terms of the thousands of visitors and millions of dollars in positive economic impact to our region. But IRONMAN also highlights some very personal stories – from the inspirational triumph of will and the determination of wounded veterans to the strengthening of friendships through the adversity of training and the exhilaration of accomplishing the seemingly impossible.
This year, Metro Chamber CEO Peter Rumble will add his own personal narrative to these IRONMAN stories, with a two-fold purpose:
- to achieve an individual goal of completing an IRONMAN;
- but more importantly, to raise funds that go directly to Chamber programs that benefit kids in our community.
From programs that support quality pre-school and child care to the employer-based math and science academy for those entering high school, the Metro Chamber provides life-changing opportunities for our community’s kids. We know that these programs are transformative: studies show the earlier the investment in early childhood education, the greater the return, and we’ve previously shared Nikko Mendoza’s inspiring story – the first in his family to go to college, graduating as a rocket scientist, and the memory of the Chamber’s program giving him the opportunity and confidence to pursue his dreams.
Peter is participating in IRONMAN for all the kids like Nikko who will be our future scientists, doctors, artists and financial advisors. By becoming a sponsor of Peter’s training and race day, you will directly support these transformational programs. Sponsor logos will be featured on Peter’s training and race gear, and we will highlight sponsors in social media and other venues through race day in July.
Redwood Credit Union, one of our most valued financial institutions, along with the Law and Consulting Office of Jenni E Klose have already signed up as sponsors – we can’t thank you enough for getting Peter into the pool and out on the road, and for supporting our community’s youth!
If you would like to sponsor Peter, send him an email directly at PeterR@SantaRosaMetroChamber.com.
