It looks like 40 years of visibility, advocacy, and celebration—like raising the Pride flag high above Downtown Santa Rosa’s Rosenberg Building. Thanks to community leaders like the Sonoma County Pride team and Chris Kren-Mora, President of Sonoma County Pride, the “Rainbows Over Sonoma County” initiative helped change city flag policies so Pride can be represented loud and proud in the heart of town. Progress and visibility like this are exactly why we celebrate, year after year. From the iconic flag-raising atop the Rosenberg Building to a packed calendar of inclusive events, Pride in Sonoma County is more than a celebration—it’s a powerful movement that fosters a welcoming space for all.
