Sonoma County BEST Nets Business Attraction Win
Following a year-long recruitment effort by Sonoma County BEST and local economic development officials, World Centric will be moving its base of operations from Palo Alto to Sonoma County with immediate plans to hire 15 additional employees.
Organized as a B-corporation and a California Benefit Corporation, the CEO for this manufacturer of biodegradable and recyclable food containers said that the resulting reduction in business expenses will allow the company to grow.
Discussions with top executives at similar companies, like Blair Kellison, Traditional Medicinals’ CEO and a BEST board member, helped draw the company to Sonoma County’s quality of life, affordability and like-minded business community.
