September Mixer at California Indian Museum & Cultural Center

The Santa Rosa Metro Chamber’s September mixer brought together local business leaders, community members, and cultural enthusiasts for an unforgettable evening at the California Indian Museum & Cultural Center (CIMCC). Guests had the unique opportunity to mingle among the museum’s exhibits, learning about the rich history and contributions of Sonoma County’s Indigenous tribes while connecting with fellow Chamber members.
Attendees enjoyed delicious food by Thanks For The Invite smash burgers, complemented by wine from Bellacana Vineyards and beer from CUVER Belgian Brewers—a perfect pairing for an evening of networking and discovery.
The CIMCC is more than just a museum, it’s a vital hub for learning and a must-visit for any Sonoma County resident. Museum leaders shared exciting plans for the future, including a new exhibit and a groundbreaking food incubator designed to support Indigenous entrepreneurs. This incubator will feature a teaching kitchen, processing and storage space, and opportunities to bring Indigenous foods to market, fostering both cultural preservation and economic development.
