Senator Mike McGuire Speaks to the Needs of Manufacturers

Senator Mike McGuire spoke to the North Bay Food Industry Group (FIG) last Friday at the North Bay FIG Networking Breakfast. McGuire spoke about issues at a state level, as well as the effects on the local area. Education, trained workforce, affordable housing, and infrastructure were all topics of great interest to the food and beverage manufacturers in the room.

The North Bay FIG was created in 2013 by Sonoma County BEST, the Chamber’s economic development program. Since then, the FIG has grown to new heights and is now its own membership trade organization. Through a partnership contract with the FIG, Chamber staff continues to run this growing organization.
