Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce to Award Bob Blanchard Leadership Award at Good Morning Santa Rosa
Join us for “Good Morning, Santa Rosa” on Wednesday, April 14th from 7:00-9:00 am, when we honor outstanding leaders in the ten areas the Chamber’s Leadership Santa Rosa program focuses on. The Bob Blanchard Leadership Award will be chosen as the overall winner from the following nominees:
Agriculture – Larry Bertolini, President/Owner, Western Farm Center
Government – John Sawyer, Councilmember, City of Santa Rosa
Health Care – Dr. Mark Nethreda, County of Sonoma
Human Services – Robin Bowen, Executive Director, California Parenting Institute
Justice – Bill Cogbill, Sheriff, County of Sonoma
Education – Dr. Carl Wong, County Superintendent, Sonoma County Office of Education
Business & Economy – Dennis Wilkinson, Owner, D&S Awards
Media, Communications & Public Relations – Brad Bollinger, Editor, North Bay Business Journal
Quality of Life– Craig Schulz, Snoopy’s Home Ice/Creative Associates
Planning & Development – Doug Hamilton, Owner, Oak Grove Construction
Former Mayor Bob Blanchard was a graduate of Leadership Santa Rosa Class 1. Leadership Santa Rosa is an educational program intended to develop and equip effective community leaders via exposure to pertinent issues, broad thinkers and the richness of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. Now in its 26th year, Leadership Santa Rosa has graduated over 600 Sonoma County leaders. Applications are now being accepted for Class 27.
This event will be held at the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, 333 Country Club Drive, Santa Rosa. $35 for Chamber members, $40 for non-Chamber members.
