SANTA ROSA CHAMBER LAUNCHES MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Volunteer members of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce will be on the phone next week calling businesses not already members of the Chamber to urge them to join. The Chamber is offering several special incentives to those who join by Friday, April 23rd including 4 free 3 and ½ inch by 2 column ads in the Press Democrat for the first 50 new members.
“We think that this is a great time to join the Chamber,” said Jonathan Coe, Chamber President and CEO. “Not only will new members receive all the year round benefits that go with being a member of the largest chamber in the region, but they will also receive the special incentives that we are offering next week.”
In addition to the ads donated by the Press Democrat, the Chamber is also offering a free vinyl 3 by 5 foot company banner donated by SIGNS par excellence, Inc. of Santa Rosa, guaranteed inclusion in the Chamber 2010 membership directory which goes out to all members plus everyone inquiring about Santa Rosa, and inclusion in a drawing for one year of free membership.
The drive will be conducted by over 50 volunteers divided up into five teams that will each take a two and one half hour shift on the phones. Competition will be fierce among those volunteers to see which team brings in the most members. Overall, the Membership and Communications Committee has set a goal of 50 new members.
“This Chamber works hard all year round for the benefit of its members and to improve the economic climate of this area,” Coe added. “Any business that joins is really investing not only in its own future but that of our community.”
