Ribbon Cutting: Redwood Gospel Baking Company

The Santa Rosa Metro Chamber was proud to join city representatives, community members, and the team at Redwood Gospel Mission in celebrating the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Redwood Gospel Baking Company, a new café concept brewing with purpose and opportunity.

Redwood Gospel Baking Company represents an expansion of Redwood Gospel Mission’s long-standing commitment to transformation and restoration for individuals overcoming homelessness and life-controlling challenges. The café serves as a real-world training environment where program participants gain hands-on experience in food service, customer care, and overall workplace readiness--skills that are essential for long-term success and stability.

Guests at the grand opening were among the first to experience the bakery’s offerings, including house-roasted coffee blends and a variety of freshly made pastries and lunch items. Each purchase directly supports the Mission’s growing network of workforce development programs, including Redwood Gospel Coffee, another initiative designed to provide practical, job-focused training.

The morning celebration highlighted the power of community partnerships and the role local businesses play in creating pathways to opportunity. Redwood Gospel Baking Co. stands as a meaningful addition to Santa Rosa’s business landscape--one where every cup of coffee and baked good contributes to a greater purpose.
