Ribbon Cutting: Fiber Snob

Last week, downtown Santa Rosa got a little more colorful with the grand opening of Fiber Snob. Owner Jennifer Tate welcomed the community with a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony and opened the doors to her new specialty shop, filled with beautiful natural fiber fabrics like silks, linens, cottons, and wools, plus all the sewing essentials, from zippers and buttons to needles, threads, and patterns.
The celebration brought together local makers, community members, and Chamber representatives, who perused the shop, toured the upcoming workshop space, and chatted with Jennifer about her vision for Fiber Snob as a place to both shop and connect.
With hands-on workshops coming soon for makers of all skill levels, Fiber Snob is set to become a go-to spot for creating, learning, and connecting in Santa Rosa. The Santa Rosa Metro Chamber congratulates Jennifer and the Fiber Snob team on their opening and can’t wait to see this new business stitch itself into the fabric of our downtown community.
