Ribbon Cutting: Conservation Corps North Bay
Big things are happening for Conservation Corps North Bay (CCNB)! The organization just celebrated the grand opening of its brand-new 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Santa Rosa, marking an exciting new chapter in their mission to develop youth and conserve natural resources for a resilient, sustainable community.
From trail building at Taylor Mountain to fire mitigation along St. Helena Road, flood prevention, and native habitat restoration, CCNB crews are behind some of Sonoma County’s most impactful environmental projects.
In addition to their work in the field, CCNB’s new Airway Facility is open to the public for e-waste, mattress, tire, and carpet recycling at low or no cost, which provides residents with an accessible, eco-friendly way to responsibly dispose of materials while supporting local job training and environmental stewardship.
Congratulations to Conservation Corps North Bay on this milestone and for continuing to make Sonoma County greener, safer, and stronger for all! Visit them at 3555 Airway Dr in Santa Rosa.
