Redistricting map submission deadline Oct 15

The County of Sonoma is asking for your help to plan, draw, and redivide new County Supervisorial Districts. The last day to submit your draft redistricting map is Friday, October 15th.
A variety of map-drawing tools are available at the County's website. These include paper maps and online mapping tools that can be used to draw and submit district maps, as well as interactive maps that provide insights about the County through statistics and data.

Why it's Important
Redistricting balances population counts within each supervisorial district, and sharing your unique point of view will help ensure our diverse communities are fairly represented by the County Board of Supervisors to have a voice at the decision-making table on issues that impact our day-to-day lives.
Get Involved, Learn More, and Provide Feedback
Tonight there's a Virtual Town Hall meeting that will provide an overview of the redistricting process and how you can get involved:
The Advisory Redistricting Commission and the Board of Supervisors will be holding a series of public meetings and hearings intended to review and narrow draft map options where you can provide feedback.
- Oct 18 at 4 pm: introduction of draft maps
- Oct 22 at 4 pm: public feedback on draft maps
- Oct 25 at 4 pm: narrow/prioritize map options
- Nov 2 at 9 am: review ARC focus maps
- Nov 16 at 9 am: preferred map and modifications
- Dec 7 at 9 am: introduce an ordinance to adopt district map
- Dec14 at 8:30 am: adopt ordinance/district map
