Pride in the Name of Business

Last week, the movers and shakers of Silicon Valley gathered at the Silicon Valley Capital Club in San Jose to celebrate pride and the top LGBTQ companies in the South Bay. The event, sponsored by Silicon Valley Business Journal, was attended by Visit Santa Rosa’s Charlene Lennon and Christopher Kren-Mora, Director of Marketing and Technology for Sonoma County Pride.

In 2018 the Sonoma County Pride Parade and Festival returned to downtown Santa Rosa after nearly a decade in Guerneville. The change of venue broadens the celebration’s drawing power, giving it a central location and a happening hub with exponentially more hotel, restaurant and shopping options, and much more space for festivities and parking. The Silicon Valley event served as a great opportunity to attract leaders of the Silicon Valley LGBTQ community to the welcoming and inclusive community of Santa Rosa and the North Bay.
