Nominations Available for the 2010 Bob Blanchard Leadership Award
Celebrating its 26th year of training over 630 Santa Rosa and Sonoma County community leaders, Leadership Santa Rosa (LSR) is recognized as one of the longest running community leadership development programs in the country. The Leadership Santa Rosa program encourages greater community involvement by identifying and developing effective Sonoma County leaders who will help create a spirit of cooperation for the resolution of community challenges.
The Leadership Santa Rosa awards program recognizes Sonoma County leaders who have displayed extraordinary leadership in our community as demonstrated through time, talent, and commitment. Leadership Awards will be given to ten people who demonstrate these characteristics in the ten fields studied by the LSR program. Those fields are: Agriculture, Government, Health Care, Human Services, Justice, Education, Business and Economy, Public Relations, Media and Communications, Quality of Life, and Planning and Development. From that group of ten, one will be selected to receive the 2010 Bob Blanchard Leadership Award.
Leadership Santa Rosa invites all residents of Sonoma County to participate in this effort to recognize those individuals who have worked so hard and personally contributed so much to make our community a unique and special place to call home. Nominations are welcomed from every segment of the community.
