New Chamber Board Members for 2022

The Santa Rosa Metro Chamber’s Governance Committee is responsible for identifying and recommending candidates for Board membership. Board members serve 3-year terms and can serve up to 6 years. Board member Kerry Rego served as the Chair of this year’s Governance Committee.

The Governance Committee had the pleasure of talking with many potential candidates for the Board, emphasizing the Metro Chamber’s goal of bringing greater racial, gender, and industry diversity to the Board.

According to the Metro Chamber bylaws, additional names of candidates for directors can be nominated by petition bearing the genuine signatures of at least 25 members of the Chamber. Such petition shall be filed with the Metro Chamber by November 1, 2021. Any nomination shall be considered by the Governance Committee for possible recommendation to the Board of Directors.
