Tell us about what you do!

I’m currently the Director of Food & Beverage at the Flamingo Hotel Resort & Conference Center.

How long have you been with your company/in that line of work?

I have been with the Flamingo for 2 years now and I have been in the hospitality industry since I was working at a golf course at 15 years old.

If you were to be a go-to person for a fellow YPN member what would they go to you for?

Anything hotel related. I have 170 rooms, 8 banquets spaces, pool, restaurant, Night Club, and Restaurant.

How long have you been in Sonoma County? If a short period where are you from originally?

I originally came to Sonoma County to attend Sonoma State and loved the area. After school I moved around a bit for jobs but I always knew I wanted to move back and when I got the job offer from the Flamingo I jumped at the opportunity.

Whether it is “Hakuna Matata” “Carpe Diem” or “Just Do It” - Do you have a motto in life?

Not so much a motto but a quote from a movie that really inspired me, “Life is not about how hard you can hit but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward… because that’s how winning is done”

If you were allowed to eat one type of food for the rest of your life (and not deal with the consequences) what would it be?

Breakfast Burritos. I love those things!!

If you were to play “hooky” from work for a day, what would your ideal day look like?

Playing Golf at Pebble Beach, I haven’t crossed that off my bucket list yet.

What is your proudest accomplishment thus far?

Besides my daughter? The work I’m doing now at The Flamingo is really fulfilling.
