Meet Visit Santa Rosa’s New Director of Marketing

We are pleased to announce that Chris Vomvolakis has joined the Visit Santa Rosa team as Director of Marketing. Chris is natural leader, go-getter, and promoter, with powerful ideas and acknowledged strengths synthesizing experience and analysis into dynamic marketing, advertising and communications solutions. Recognized for successful consensus building across management functions to achieve marketing goals, he has been commended in for his enthusiasm, diligence, can-do attitude, sense of humor, and roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, public and community relations, brand building and promotional strategies. A hospitality management graduate of Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA, he has orchestrated marketing, global communications, value proposition development, and meeting and event planning for nationally and globally recognized brands such as the Shadowbrook Restaurant in Capitola, CA, New England Institute of Technology at Palm Beach, FL, Florida Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach, FL, Benziger Family Winery in Glen Ellen, CA, and JDS Uniphase (now Viavi Solutions) in Santa Rosa and Milpitas, CA. Chris’ solutions to strategic marketing are thoughtful, innovative, and multidisciplinary.
