Featuring nationally and locally recognized experts, this year’s conference focused on culture, the value of diversity, and the strength of the Latino workforce. Latinos represent a significant and growing share of today’s workforce. By providing leadership opportunities and emphasizing the value of diversity, employers can maximize workplace morale, improve productivity and increase their bottom line.
Expanding opportunities is a consistent theme for the Latinos in the Workplace conference, and funds contributed to the Chamber’s Mike Hauser Academy and the Elsie Allen High School Foundation add action to that message. Both programs provide educational opportunities to area students, introducing them to diverse career options and providing pathways and support for their educational and professional success.
