July Mixer at Korbel Winery

There’s nothing quite like warm summer evenings in Sonoma County, especially when spent among friends, colleagues, and community members at one of the region’s most iconic destinations. This July, the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber had the pleasure of hosting our monthly Mixer at Korbel Champagne Cellars, and it was an unforgettable evening filled with great conversation, delicious food and drink, and a deeper appreciation for local heritage.
Located along the Russian River and set among towering redwoods, Korbel’s historic property offered the perfect venue to mix and mingle. Guests were treated to guided tours that highlighted the winery’s long-standing history where they learned about the co-founder's storied beginnings dating back to the 1800s, the property's railroad roots, and the agricultural value of the area. The tours also offered insight into Korbel’s traditional champagne production methods, allowing members to experience the legacy and craftsmanship behind every bottle.

After the tours, attendees sipped on Korbel’s California champagnes and wines while enjoying sweet treats from Costeaux Bakery, and hearty sandwiches from the Korbel Delicatessen & Market, the winery’s on-site deli known for its local ingredients and satisfying fare.
Whether catching up with familiar faces or making new connections, the evening captured what Metro Chamber mixers are all about, bringing our business community together in meaningful, memorable ways. Thank you to the team at Korbel for hosting and to all who joined us for another lively networking event. We look forward to seeing you at the next one!
