Increased Funding for Transportation Repair and Maintenance

The California state legislature just passed a $52 billion transportation funding package that raises the gas tax and imposes new vehicle fees to fix the state's deteriorating roads.

The Chamber's Advocacy Council sent letters supporting SB 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, to Governor Jerry Brown and our state representatives.

Sonoma County is expected to receive $20 million annually with $4 million going to Santa Rosa solely for transportation.
