On behalf of the City of Santa Rosa, we want to inform our members and downtown businesses of anticipated demonstration in the downtown area. As does the city, we welcome and encourage peaceful demonstration. If you operate a business in the downtown area, please plan accordingly.

Important Message from SRPD: Planned Protest Tonight

SRPD is aware of a planned protest tonight in the downtown area. We ask for a peaceful protest and will not tolerate criminal activity. We ask local businesses, residents and protestors to plan accordingly, or stay home.

If you are protesting in Santa Rosa this evening, please know the men and women of SRPD support your right to free speech – but please exercise that right in a manner that is safe, peaceful and respectful to all involved.

SRPD will continue to provide updates throughout the evening, as needed.
