Gala Attendees Fund-a-Need, Invest in our Future

Thanks to the attendees of the Annual Gala for making it a tremendous success in raising funds for Chamber programs, specifically for the Mike Hauser Academy. The Fund-a-Need contributions for the Mike Hauser Academy totaled over $68,000 including $50,000 from the John Jordan Foundation, $5,000 from the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50, $2,500 from Gary Buffo of Pure Luxury Transportation, $1,000 from John Balletto of Balletto Vineyards and many other individual donations.

The 2016 Mike Hauser Academy will begin in June with over 100 English Language Learner students from Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, Rohnert Park and Sebastopol, giving them the opportunity to visit various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) related companies where they interact with engineers and professionals, observe demonstrations, and participate in hands-on activities that reinforce classroom math and science lessons.
