Expanding Air Service To and From Santa Rosa

Alaska Airlines has announced that it will add flights from the Sonoma County Airport to Orange County beginning early next year. This fifth destination is expected to boost already increasing passenger numbers – up 8 percent compared to last year – with both tourism and business travelers.

The Chamber’s Advocacy Council continues to work with Sonoma County Airport officials to secure east-bound air service to a major travel hub. Securing this type of connection will benefit business that send employees east, will make our area more attractive to new business, and will be a further boon to Sonoma County tourism and growth.
