Chrit Longmaid of reDefining Efficiency Named Ambassador of the Year
The Chamber is proud to announce that Chrit Longmaid has been named Ambassador of the Year. Each year our Chamber selects an Ambassador that has provided outstanding leadership to their fellow Ambassadors, helped grow our Chamber membership and has been a positive role model to our members.
"Chrit's commitment to attending our many ribbon cuttings, mixers, events and meetings throughout the year have made him a model Ambassador for the Chamber," said Tammi Matthias, Director of Operations and Membership.
When asked about receiving this award, Chrit spoke of the Chamber making a difference for its members and the community: "Since participating in their relocation in 2012, my admiration for all that the Chamber does for its membership as well as the broader community has grown and grown. In hindsight, becoming an ambassador was one of the best decisions I could have made. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this amazing organization and am truly honored to have received this award."
Principal consultant at reDefining Efficiency, Chrit is a cost control specialist who identifies both short and long term strategies to reduce operating expenses in the areas of Administration, Accounting and Facilities.
Chamber Ambassadors are selected based upon their professionalism, knowledge of our Chamber, ability to network, knowledge of our local businesses, and being outstanding members of the community. For more information on the Ambassadors Committee, contact Tammi Matthias.
