Chamber Board Announces Candidate Endorsements

The Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced its endorsements for Santa Rosa City Council today. The Board will support Erin Carlstrom, Hans Dippel, Ernesto Olivares and Don Taylor in their bids for Council seats.

“After careful review and considerable conversation, the Board voted for those candidates it believes will best serve the City of Santa Rosa by working to create jobs, improving our local economy, and dealing with the City’s budget challenges,” said Jonathan Coe, President and CEO.

In making its endorsement, the Board extended its appreciation to the other candidates for their willingness to run. Anyone who is willing to take on the challenges of elective office is to be commended. In making these endorsements, the Board has made a decision to support those candidates whose positions and backgrounds are best suited to helping our member businesses and the community as a whole.

In addition to these Santa Rosa City Council candidates, the Chamber has also endorsed John Sawyer for County Supervisor District 1.
