Chamber Advocacy: Santa Rosa Honored for Aggressive Economic Development Measures

The Chamber applauds the City of Santa Rosa on receiving the Award of Excellence, presented by the California Association of Local Economic Development, for the city’s Aggressive Economic Development Zoning Measures.

Working with city officials, the Chamber, and particularly the Advocacy Council, made recommendations for these measures and advocated for them. In sum, they are aimed at reducing uncertainty in the entitlement process, expediting re-occupancy of vacant commercial properties and supporting local job creation.

The Chamber is pleased as to the outcome and looks forward to continuing a strong relationship with the city in pursuit of user-friendly processes and building greater economic development for the benefit of our community.
