August 5th: Permanent closure of Mendocino Avenue through Courthouse Square

In creating a central gathering place where residents and visitors can enjoy a wide variety of community events in the heart of Santa Rosa, the section of Mendocino Avenue that connects to Santa Rosa Avenue will be permanently closed. The closure is expected to occur on August 5th.

There are numerous ways to reach our local shops and restaurants Downtown–all of which are open during the construction. Programmable message signs advising motorists of the pending closure are being set up and static black on orange detour signs will be setup over the next couple weeks to guide motorists through the new circulation pattern.
