On Wednesday, December 13th, Visit Santa Rosa’s Executive Director Brad Calkins was invited by Assemblymember Mark Levine and Supervisor Lynda Hopkins to participate on a town hall panel.
Panelists also included Caroline Beteta, President and CEO of Visit California, Gary Buffo, owner of Pure Luxury Transportation, Barbara Newton, President and CEO of Cal Travel, Sonu Chandi, Founder and President of Chandi Hospitality Group, and Andrea Rodriguez of Sonoma County Farm Bureau.
The town hall covered the challenges that lie ahead for the industry along with solutions and efforts to ensure the economic vitality of food and beverage tourism in 2018.
