Amgen Tour of California to Visit Santa Rosa

The Amgen Tour of California returns with Stage 7 here in Santa Rosa on Saturday, May 21. Visit Santa Rosa is proud to serve on the local organizing committee and will be center stage for this premier event, taking the lead on hospitality coordination surrounding the event and assists with VIPs and media relations.

Earlier this week, competing race teams were announced including 18 women’s teams that will take part in the first North American stage race in the inaugural UCI Women’s WorldTour.

May 21st will be a busy day in downtown Santa Rosa beginning with the men’s and women’s stage starts. As the teams are out on the course, the annual Luther Burbank Rose Parade will travel through town before racers return to downtown for a three-circuit finish.

The impact of the 2016 Tour coming to Santa Rosa is expected to bring tens of thousands of spectators and millions in visitor spending.
