Advocating for Our Members at CalTravel

On Wednesday, February 15th, Visit Santa Rosa's Executive Director Brad Calkins participated with CalTravel's rally day at the capitol. Highlights included small group meetings with our Assembly Members and State Senators sharing the importance of travel and advocating for our tourism members.

Travel and tourism are important both statewide and locally. Did you know that in 2015 California hosted more than 257 million visitors who spent $122.5 billion dollars and supported almost 1.1 million jobs in the state?
