Ribbon Cutting for Southwest Airlines at Sonoma County Airport

Join the Santa Rosa Metro Chamber for a special celebration welcoming Southwest Airlines to our region at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport. Guests are invited to gather at 3:30 PM to welcome the aircraft, with the ceremony timed to coincide with its inaugural arrival around 3:45 PM. A public ribbon cutting will take place just before the first flight touches down. Keep an eye out for Snoopy, who will be on site for photos, adding to the festive atmosphere at the airport as the community comes together to celebrate this major moment of growth and opportunity.

This milestone marks an exciting new chapter for Sonoma County, expanding access to and from the region and opening the door for increased visitation, business travel, and regional connectivity.
