Montgomery Village's Wellness Weekend: Yoga & Sound Healing with La Reina Marshall

We invite you to start the morning off with light bites at our welcome reception from 8:30am-9am located at our outdoor covered Passage walkway (2404 Magowan Drive in between Sonoma Outfitters and Infinity Nail Salon/Wild Honey Mercantile).

Yoga begins at 9am. This class is a vinyasa flow with the intention to provide an opportunity to slow down enough to feel deeply into your body, to connect mindfully with your breath, and ultimately soothe your nervous system. While strengthening and lengthening the body, we will connect movement with breath, and aim to strike a balance between effort and ease. We will complete this movement practice with a restorative reiki sound healing experience meant to soothe and nourish your physical and emotional body deeply. Accessible for all levels. A few lucky attendees will receive ME SPA gift cards of various denominations at random, including one-$100 ME SPA gift card.

More about the instructor - La Reina Marshall:

La Reina Marshall RYT 200 has been practicing yoga since 2005 and received her 200-hour certification at Soul Yoga in June 2019. She is trained in trauma informed yoga, restorative yoga, and sound healing. She completed multiple trainings with Dolphin Method as a certified Doula, as well as Prenatal & Postnatal Vinyasa Yoga. La Reina is trained and attuned in Reiki I and II and Mastery levels. La Reina lives in beautiful Bennett Valley located in Santa Rosa, California. She currently teaches multiple public yoga classes at Soul Yoga. Additionally, La Reina is an Integrative Health Practitioner and is currently completing her 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Soul Yoga and will be certified 500-Hour RTY by November 2024.For La Reina, the practice of yoga, sound healing and energy work are a path to emotional and physical wellness. She teaches a vinyasa inspired flow to create a grounded container to experience your body on the mat. The very act of being aware of our bodies and feeling what we need to feel is how we live more fully. With compassion and authenticity, you will have an opportunity to explore your connection with the present moment using your breath as a guide. La Reina believes practicing vulnerability is the gateway for healing ourselves, and by doing so we contribute to the collective healing of those around us.

By registering and attending this class, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Release and Waiver and accept and agree to the terms and provisions contained in this Release and Waiver.

Mats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own mat for additional support. Please bring your own water bottle.
