Experience the glow of Paris at wintertime in Holiday Lights & Parisian Nights — an evening blending festive cheer, French elegance, and the timeless charm of swing.
The SRJC Symphonic Band and Jazz Band are joined by special guest ensemble Le Hot Club Swing, a Jazz Manouche group that captures the Jazz Manouche style of 1930s–40s Paris — the era of Django Reinhardt and the original Hot Club of France.
The Jazz Band highlights the spirit of Paris with the classic Afternoon in Paris, plus French-inspired New-Orleans energy in Crescent River Ramble. The Symphonic Band evokes the quiet beauty of a winter night in Nocturne and honors France’s proud musical traditions with a series of iconic French marches.
