Improve your relationships with your coworkers, clients, and managers and find your way through conflict back to cooperation. In this course, learn the secrets of effective conflict resolution and reveal simple, repeatable techniques that apply in most business situations. Learn practical framework for exploring and navigating conflict resolution, including identifying the issue and distinguishing fact from fiction. Scenarios help take you through best practices for opening the conflict conversation, brainstorming solutions, and coming to an agreement.

This session will include special guest speaker Paul Osincup: "I'm on a mission to help people enjoy work more! I deliver keynote speeches & training on Humor at Work, Battling Burnout & Compassion Fatigue, and Creating Positive Work Climates. It's like other professional development, but funnier. Whether I'm directly talking about humor or facilitating training on conflict resolution, I have to make it fun, funny, and content-rich. Regardless of the topic, I just believe people learn and retain information better when they're entertained and having fun... Laugh --> Learn --> Lead. We spend 1/3 of our lives at work and sadly about 75% of people don't enjoy being there. I want to change that."

The Leadership Learning Path is a series of classes that cover topics critical to the development of leadership principles & best practices. Classes will be approximately 2 hours long and utilize multiple learning techniques including video tutorials, course guideline & reference handouts that will a moderated to help continue discussions stemming from the tutorials. These are not lectures – they are designed to create critical thinking and conversation.

  • Chamber members only
  • Must have a Sonoma County Library Card (and bring it with you, know your username & pin)

Class size is limited to 40. If your organization has 5 or employees that you would like to attend a class, contact us VP of Member Development Bret Gave at 707-524-2118 for more options.
