The Zones End of Year Campaign: What Would YOU Do for The Zones?
This Fall, The Zones staff are stepping up for our youth in the most unforgettable way possible! Our year-end fundraising campaign will raise critical funds for year-round programming AND....if we meet our goal, our staff will take one for the team - getting drenched in whipped cream pies and water balloons!
The Zones Launches “What Would YOU Do?” Fundraiser to Support Youth Programming—with a Splash of Fun The Zones, a vibrant youth center serving students in grades K–12, is turning up the excitement this season with its “What Would YOU Do for The Zones?” fundraising campaign—an initiative that blends community generosity with a dash of good-natured mischief. From now through December 31, The Zones invites community members and local businesses to support its mission of providing dynamic, year-round programming for young people. As a fun incentive, any individual or organization that donates $200 or more will earn the opportunity to throw a pie or a water balloon at a Zones staff member of their choice. “This is our way of adding some fun to fundraising,” says Amber Heidtke, Executive Director of The Zones. “We’re serious about our mission, but we’re not afraid to get a little messy for a good cause.” The Zones offers a safe, state-of-the-art space where young people can explore new interests, connect with their friends, meet staff and volunteer role models, and stay active outside of school hours. With programming that spans arts, sports, leadership, and wellness, The Zones plays a critical role in the lives of local families.
