Sonoma Clean Power is Hiring: Director, Planning & Analytics

As Sonoma and Mendocino counties' community-owned electricity provider, SCP is tackling some of the most significant challenges facing California's electric sector, including long-term resource planning, affordable and reliable power procurement, transmission planning reform, and the development of next-generation clean energy resources. We are looking for a visionary professional to lead our planning, forecasting, and analytics functions and help guide SCP's long-term success.

The Director, Planning & Analytics serves as a senior member of SCP's leadership team and strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO, COO, and CSO. This position is responsible for developing and directing SCP's resource planning, forecasting, analytics, and data infrastructure functions.

The Director leads efforts to forecast energy demand, revenues, and power costs; develop long-term resource plans; support financial planning and procurement decisions; oversee regulatory and compliance reporting; and build the data systems and business intelligence tools that support decision-making across the organization. This role supervises technical staff and collaborates closely with all departments to provide critical analytics that inform SCP's strategic direction.
