North Bay Stage Company's "GUYS & DOLLS" Opens This Weekend
Guys and Dolls is gangsters, gamblers, dames and more. “This acclaimed musical, performed in-concert with a live orchestra is "joy in its purest form!" Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, it received nearly unanimous positive reviews from critics and won a bevy of awards, including Tony Awards, Drama Desks and Olivier’s during its run on Broadway and the West End,” says John DeGaetano, artistic director for NBSC.
In this oddball romantic comedy, gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck. Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong.

The show is scheduled for a limited 9 performance only run April 28, 29, 30* May 5, 6, 7* 12, 13, 14* – 2017. Shows at 8pm or * Signifies Sunday matinee at 2pm. Doors open half hour before the show at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts – East Auditorium. Concessions (available before and during the show) will feature Mindy’s Cheesecake.
