North Bay Credit Union Collecting Food and Gift Cards
North Bay Credit Union is collecting non-perishable food as well as Target Gift Cards this holiday season.
The credit union has Redwood Empire Food Bank donation barrels at each of its branches to collect canned goods, peanut butter, rice, dry beans, and other food staples for distribution to those facing food insecurity. These collection bins will be available until December 21.
In addition, community members can bring Target Gift Cards in any denomination to their local branch by December 10. “We’re collecting these so that YWCA Sonoma County can purchase holiday gifts for kids in their program,” said Chris Call, North Bay CU CEO.
Call said his team sees firsthand how important both of these organizations are to the North Bay. “We want to help them fulfill their missions this holiday season and I know the community will want to help, too.”
North Bay Credit Union has $110 million in assets, is federally insured by the NCUA, and serves everyone who lives, works, or worships in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, and Solano counties.
