New Homewatch CareGivers Opens to Serve Sonoma County
Couple with Experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Development to Provide Premier In-Home Care
Homewatch CareGivers, the largest, most experienced international provider of full-service, in-home care for people of all ages, opened a new location in Santa Rosa under the ownership of Michael Bagwell and Hillary Wootton, and, in its first month of service, is providing regular care each week to the Sonoma County community.
Since 1980, Homewatch CareGivers has provided in-home companion, personal and comprehensive care throughout the US and North America.
Previously working in sales and marketing in the Seattle, WA area for over 15 years, Michael Bagwell has found success in relationship-based businesses that provide a valuable and needed service to the community. He also has a background in conflict resolution and mediation.
Born and raised in Santa Rosa—and returning to live in her home town for the first time in nearly 20 years, Hillary Wootton has over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing and account management. Previously a teacher, Hillary has combined her interest in working with and helping people with her business skills.
“While we each come from strong business backgrounds, we became Homewatch CareGivers owners because the company is committed to providing exceptional in-home care,” Bagwell explained. “Both Hillary and I has the responsibility of looking after elderly relatives, and that experience showed us the value of this profession. We also realized there was little community awareness about the help and resources available to families who need care and assistance for a loved one. We’re here to make a real difference and we’re already reaping the great reward of seeing the difference caregivers can make in the lives of our clients and their families.”
Hillary adds, “This experience is allowing me to reconnect with a community I left long ago. I still have many relationships from my school days, and now I’m able to develop myself into an adult active in the community.”
Michael and Hillary are looking to become more involved in community organizations. They’ve recently joined the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce. More information is available at www.homewatchcaregivers.com/santa-rosa.
