LinkedIn Learning Free for Library Cardholders
Sonoma County Library invites cardholders to boost business, technology, and creative skills with the new LinkedInLearning for Libraries. LinkedIn Learning was previously known as Lynda.com. The new online platform provides access to the same content from Lynda plus 9,000 more videos and courses offered in English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin and Portuguese.
“LinkedIn Learning delivers high-quality, expert-led courses that engage learners," said Sonoma County Library Director Ann Hammond. "Choose from bite-size tutorials or comprehensive courses, and you can even receive certifications of completion. Start learning today!"
Through LinkedIn Learning, Sonoma County Library cardholders now have access to 16,000 award-winning video tutorials that are available online and downloadable for offline viewing. Learn relevant, professional skills and:
- Keep up to date with technology
- Build career-boosting business know-how
- Explore hundreds of topics in management, leadership, and marketing
- Gain multimedia, design, web development, and social media skills
All you need to use LinkedIn Learning is your Sonoma County Library card and pin, or a digital eCard, which can be obtained at sonomalibrary.org. A LinkedIn account is not required. Get started at www.linkedin.com/learning-login/go/sonomalibrary.
Funding for LinkedIn Learning is made possible thanks to the Measure Y sales tax funds, the community’s investment in free public libraries.
